On Friday, November 18th, Sekar Jaya will be performing at Ashkenaz Music and Dance Community Center in Berkeley. Featuring performances by our gamelan jegog, gong kebyar and dance ensembles as well as contemporary compositions from this season's Guest Music Director Ni Nyoman Srayamurtikanti for gender wayang: one of the oldest types of gamelan in Bali. All these piece come together in traditional and new iterations of these art forms as we celebrate this season of Autumn and harvest here in the West.

Doors open at 7:30pm and the show begins at 8:00pm, indoors with provided seating. Advance tickets are $20 and can be purchased on the Ashkenaz event page, and otherwise are $25 at the door.
