Gamelan Sekar Jaya at the Asian Cultural Festival

Gamelan Sekar Jaya’s angklung ensemble and dancers are joining the 2nd Annual Asian Cultural Festival, a celebration of Asian diversity and culture held in the heart of downtown Berkeley. The festival lasts from 11am to 6pm and is hosted in MLK Jr. Civic Center Park. Communities from all over the Bay Area and the world will showcase food, crafts and performances all day long.

Our angklung and dance ensembles will be closing out the event with performances from 5-5:30pm. Excited to be in celebration alongside so many wonderful cultural organizations and collectives in the Bay Area!
