REGISTRATION CLOSED Creative Kids: Songs and Stories from Indonesia

In this class, parents and kids learn music and stories from Indonesia together with Emiko Susilo (Ibu Emiko), a musician, dancer, and parent who is deeply knowledgeable about Balinese stories, songs, and other traditions. You’ll learn to speak and sing songs in Indonesian, hear stories about life, family, and celebrations in another culture, and enjoy an hour each week together with other parents and children who are interested in Indonesian culture. This class is designed for children age 5-7 and a caretaker (or two!), but kids of all ages are welcome.

Taught by Emiko Saraswati Susilo.

Three Sundays: February 21, February 28, March 7

Recommended for kids K-2 (or 5-7) and their parents/grandparents/caregivers.

Only one registration necessary for everyone in your household. When choosing your sliding scale rate, please keep in mind that GSJ depends on your generosity to support high caliber artists and programming.

GSJ is committed to making the Balinese arts accessible for people of all abilities. Please email staff AT gsj.org or call FIVE ONE ZERO 655-1227 if you require accommodations such as closed captioning or language interpretation. We will also check in with each registrant before class begins.
