Sekar Jaya is so excited to be joining Summer at the Hidden Cafe: a weekend-long festival and fundraising effort to support Asian Pacific Environmental Network (APEN), a local non-profit that raises awareness for social justice for Asian Americans and environmental justice. Summer at the Hidden Cafe was made possible for a second year due to a partnerships with The Hidden Cafe and Local Artists Berkeley. Check out their website here for more information and please consider donating to help fund this wonderful community event!
Sekar Jaya will be performing at 2pm on Sunday, August 7th. You'll be treated to dance performances from Casey Lee Sims, I Made Moja, and Sekar Jaya's dance ensemble, as well as a set from a Sekar Jaya gender wayang duet.
The event is outdoors and free to the public. No need to RSVP. Food and drinks will be available at the cafe and there will be plenty of grassy open space to settle down for the day.
