Nusantara is an annual Indonesian cultural event at UC Berkeley. A term originating from the Javanese island of Indonesia, Nusantara translates to “archipelago”, which describes the 18,307 islands of Indonesia in which Bali and Java are only two examples of. This event is made possible thanks to the organizing efforts of BISA (Berkeley Indonesian Student Association).

Gamelan Sekar Jaya’s jegog and dance ensemble will be performing in the afternoon at 5:30pm until 6:00pm! We will also be featured at one of the many booths with information on our Spring programs and merchandise for sale.

Admission will be free and open to the public beyond the UC Berkeley community. All festivities will be taking place outdoors, so we recommend bringing a lawn chair or a blanket for you to sit while you enjoy the show.
