Please join us as we partner once again with Summer at the Hidden Cafe for their first Pop-Up Concert at The Backroom (1984 Bonita Ave) on March 16th, 2024 at 3 pm (PST). There will be performances by our gender ensemble, Rubina Mazurka, and fellow organizers from Summer at The Hidden Cafe. 

“Still We Rise!” is a concert featuring women-composers from the late 19th century until present day as well as a gender quartet from Gamelan Sekar Jaya. The concept for this program is to redefine the traditional chamber music concert by programming both unconventional and underrepresented works. Both Classical lovers and new listeners are encouraged to join us! 

There will be light refreshments included with your entrance fee.
